The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) is working hard to improve safety and make services better. They are upgrading the road markings along the R391 from Burgersdorp to Steynsburg.

This road, R391, is really important because it connects different communities, helps businesses, and lets people travel easily. But sometimes, the road markings get old and hard to see, which can cause accidents. SANRAL wants to fix this problem by making the road markings clear and easy to see again.

This project is important because good road markings help drivers know where to go and stay safe. By fixing the road markings, SANRAL is making sure everyone can travel safely on this road.

But it's not just about safety. Better road markings also help the local area grow. When roads are in good shape, it's easier for businesses to operate and for people to get around. This means more opportunities for everyone.

SANRAL is working together with local authorities to make this project happen. When people and organisations work together, they can achieve great things. This project is a good example of how teamwork can make life better for everyone.

Improving the road markings also fits into bigger plans to make services better and the area more sustainable. When infrastructure is good, it improves people's lives and sets the stage for future growth.

“The road markings project on the R391 is a big step forward in making Walter Sisulu Local Municipality safer and better. By fixing the roads, SANRAL is not only making travel safer but also helping businesses and communities thrive. It's a win-win for everyone”, said Mayor Cllr Vania Davids.
